He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Gery, Sr. and Susan Spell Gery; his wife Nellie Faye Thomas Gery; and his brothers, Ernest and Adrian Gery.
He is survived by: his children, John Calvin Gery and Kathy Sue Gery; his granddaughter Crystal Gery; his brother Todd; and his sister-in-law Margit Gery.
