With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie McCrary of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo McCrary and Dorothy Gray McCrary; and his siblings, Lorene Jones, Clinton McCrary, Clayton McCrary, Parlie McCrary and Carlie McCrary.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Mabe McCrary; his children, Gina Sumner (John), Lisa (Jimmy Lawrence), Pam (Marty Lewis) and Steve; his daughter-in-law Teresa McCrary; his sister Shirley King; and his grandson Morgan Gwynn. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
