He is survived by: his children, Rita Hazelwood, Dean Bowman (Debbie), Robert Bowman (Faye) and Edd Bowman (Bonnie); his sister Dorothy "Bunkie" Bowman; his close friends, Jason Reynolds and David Bowman; and his cousins, Betty and Calvin Shinault. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren.
