He is survived by: his wife Melanie Gardner Holt; his son-in-law Megan Simpson of Mount Airy; his son John Holt of Mount Airy; his grandchild Rosie Simpson; his sister Gina McKinney of Mount Airy; and also, Matthew Simpson of Mount Airy and Martha Holt of Mount Airy. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather who will be dearly missed by all his family and many friends.
