She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Henry and Lessie Williams Hoover; her husband Eugene Legraund Bristol; and her siblings, Annis Williams, Emmie Williams, James Ray Hoover and Tillman Hoover.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane (Tony Stanley) of Mount Airy and Wendy (Billy Simpson) of Mount Airy; her grandchildren, Christopher Matthew Brackins, Indira Reid of Winston-Salem, Kaela Grace Simpson of Mount Airy and Luke Eugene Simpson of Mount Airy; her stepgrandchildren, Randy of Mount Airy, Shannon Stanley of Mount Airy, Ryan Stanley of Mount Airy, Brandy Davis of Mount Airy, Andrew of Mount Airy, Emily Stanley of Mount Airy, Matt Simpson of Mount Airy, Andy Simpson of Charlotte and Blake Stanley of Mount Airy; and her sister Shirley Copeland of Gaston, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
