It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Malund of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Janice Malund to show support.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eldon and Berda Mae Nichols Stoneman; and her son Brian Malund. She is survived by: her husband Erik S. Malund; her son Mark Richard Malund of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Alexis Malund and Mariah Malund; her brother Michael; her sister-in-law Barbara Stoneman of Matthews; and her pets, Terri, Dandy and Rusty.
Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a service of worship and celebration of Janice's life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Edwards officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support the food pantry at Faith Baptist Church, P.O. Box 37, Toast, NC 27049.
