She is survived by: her daughter Christy; her son-in-law Neal Horton of Mount Airy; her son John; her daughter-in-law Savannah Carpenter of Boonville; her grandchildren, Bryson Horton of Mount Airy, Amelia Horton of Mount Airy, Kennedy Carpenter of Boonville, Tripp Carpenter of Boonville and Kinleigh Carpenter of Boonville; and her siblings-in-law, Ricky Thomas of Mount Airy, Tim Wilson of Mount Airy, Dewey of Mount Airy, Clair Carpenter of Mount Airy and Patty S. Carpenter of Mount Airy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
