He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Joseph Odum and Ethel Corine Browder McCraw; and his sister Kathy Tate. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Viola Edwards Odum; his children, Michelle (Ricky Culler), Amanda (Danny Leftwich), Jessica (Rodney Hawks), Jeana Odum, Brandon Odum and Cecil Dean (Brandy Odum); his grandchildren, Maegan Hodges, Dakota Hodges, Santana Cruz (Ryan), Laiken Leftwich, Logan Leftwich, Devan Odum, Haley Odum, Payton Odum, Emily Odum, Jayden Upchurch, Finley Odum, Adrian Odum, Deanna Odum, Jedda Hawks, Jetlee Hawks and Janessa Hawks; his great grandchildren, Caden, Mason, Jaxon and Nik; and his siblings, Patricia Midkiff, Diane Woods, Janet Odum, Nancy McGee, Sandy Kopack, Bobby (Della Odum), Ervin (Frankie Odum) and Roy Odum.
