He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzer Griffith and Georgie Underwood Griffith; and his sisters, Barbara Vipperman and Irene Cochran. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Martin Griffith; his son Albert; his daughter-in-law Mary Lou Griffith; his sister Linda Griffith Martin; his brother-in-law Leon Martin; and his brothers, Howard, Wayne, David, Kenneth, Raymond and Junior Griffith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
