He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Poore and Lela White Poore; his wife Doris Poore; and his brother Joe Poore. He is survived by: his children, Kim McDowell (Jerry) and James Jimmy'Poore Jr. (Mitzi); his grandchildren, Shannon Mayer (Bill), Whitney Golding (Chad), Meagan Poore and Abby Poore (Jason Hooker); his great grandchildren, Sophia Mayer, Katy Mayer, Bristol Golding, Bryson Golding, Will, Zach and Brad Mayer; his siblings, Ruth Simmons and Lester Poore; and his cousin Lonnie Jackson.
