He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edmiston and Drucilla Lykins Edmiston; and his brothers, Bob Edmiston and Jack Edmiston. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Arrington Edmiston; his children, Julia Elam and Jim; his daughter-in-law Teri Edmiston; his grandchildren, Cassie Edmiston, Alex Edmiston, Tiffany Elam and Mia Elam; his stepchildren, Donna C. Adams and D. C. Collins; his stepgrandchildren, Rona Hawks, Emma Hawks, Nathaniel Hawks, Maggie Collins and Katie Collins; and his sister Jo Ann Atkins.
