With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James David Carpenter (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond and Clara Chappell Carpenter; and his wife Jane Knox Grant Carpenter. He is survived by: his sons, Martin Carpenter (Traci), Jonathan Carpenter (Danna) and Robert Carpenter (Angela); his stepdaughter Anne Christine Poetzch; and his grandchildren, Sierra, Summer, Gabby, Hunter, Nate, Kathryn, Grant, Cassidy and Knox.
In lieu of Flowers donation may be made to a charity of the donator's choice in memory of Mr. Carpenter.
