It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carl Pruitt of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Moseley Pruitt; his daughter Dana Pruitt of Pilot Mountain; his sister Mildred Pruitt Wray of Mount Airy; his nephew Tony Wray of Mount Airy; and his extended Moseley.
