It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carl Pruitt of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Moseley Pruitt; his daughter Dana Pruitt of Pilot Mountain; his sister Mildred Pruitt Wray of Mount Airy; his nephew Tony Wray of Mount Airy; and his extended Moseley.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Stewarts Creek Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Shannon Mosley, 198 Pepper Mill Lane, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
