He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morton and Lottie Edwards Morton; his siblings, Wesley Morton, Bobby Slate, Larry Morton, Russel Slate, Thelma Glass and Clara Mae Goins; his sister-in-law Jennie Morton; and his close friend Grady Hiatt.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Morton; his children, Larry Morton, Rachel "Kathy" Morton and Tabitha (Bryson Wood); his grandchildren, Cheyenne McGee (Justin), Lana Brown (Dillon), Lexy Mickey, Salinda Bonds, Brandon Norman and Alisha Hawkins (William); his great grandchildren, Jonah, Chad, Lacee, Isaiah, Serenity, Ash and Hudson; his siblings, Billy Morton and Patty Sue Morton; and his close friends, James and Vicky Flippen.
