We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Herman Nichols of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Levi and Minnie Payne Nichols; and his siblings, Polly Quesinberry, Dot Cumming, Lou Sanders, Esther Johnson and Johnny Nichols.

He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Lena Holder Nichols; his son Tommy; his daughter-in-law Tina Nichols; his grandsons, Jeremy Nichols (Amber) and Nathan Nichols (Lyndsey); and his great grandchildren, Dylan Cooke, Lena, Andrew, William and Rosalyn Nichols.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017 or the VFW, 285 Pine Ridge Trail, Pinnacle, NC 27043.
