It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert Harold Jessup of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Monroe and Rachel Annie Dollyhite Jessup; and his wife Frankie Moorefield Jessup. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Sue Martin, Judy Jessup, Jyl (James Nichols), Patricia (Larry Bohannon), Pamela (Wade Priddy) and Alton; his sister-in-law Benita Jessup; and his close friend Debbie Montgomery. He is also survived by niece and several nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Due to health concerns, the family is requesting that anyone attending the graveside service, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
