She is survived by: her pet Puff; her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law Jim Ashburn of Edenton; her son Dr. Renfrow; her daughters-in-law, Karen Hauser and Peggy Hauser Marsh (Phil) of Mount Airy; her grandchildren, Amy Lindsay (Mike) of Raleigh, Lee Ashburn (Kim) of Jacksonville, NC, Scott Hauser (Sheri) of Cornelius, NC, Dr. Mark Hauser (Leah) of Mount Airy, Bucky Hauser (Kelly) of Woolwine, VA and David Hauser (Stephanie) of Mount Airy; her great grandchildren, Kristen Shimer (John) of Raleigh, Taylor and Tillee Hauser of Woolwine, VA.; her great great grandchildren, Claire and Jack Shimer of Raleigh; and her sister June Bullock of Hollywood, FL..
She had to give up the game when the pandemic hit but replaced it with playing bingo at Ridgecrest Retirement Community, where her competitiveness continued.
