She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carpenter and Ethel Berrier Carpenter; her husband Alvin Randolph Lyons; her daughter April Dawn Lyons; her son-in-law James Edward "Jim" Belton; her brother Kellock Carpenter; and her brother-in-law Harold Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Lyons Belton and Randy Lyons (Angel Ramey); her grandchildren, Drew (Jessica Belton), Eric (Ashley Belton), Katie Lyons (Anselmo Salazar) and Trey Lyons; her great grandchildren, Jax Belton, Breccan Belton and Lleyton Belton; and her sister Ruth Evans.
