He was predeceased by: his parent Zebulon Vance; and his siblings, Margaret Vaughn Frye, Donald, Herschel, Arvel, Lester, Bernie Vaughn, Carl Vaughn and Carlie Vaughn.
He is survived by: his parent Ella Mae Robertson Vaughn; his wife Anne Fleming Vaughn; his daughter Melinda Eddins; his son-in-law Brad Eddins; his grandchildren, Justin Conrad and Cameron Vaughn Eddins; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Vaughn, Loretta Vaughn, Jane and Cole. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
