He was predeceased by: his father Harlan Kenneth Gammons, II; and his grandparents, Harlan Kenneth Gammons Sr., Cornelle Gammons, Delmar and Ruth Love.
He is survived by: his mother Frankie Delana Gammons of Mount Airy, NC; his stepfather Jackie Mears (Kim) of Mount Airy, NC; his sons, Kenneth "JD" Gammons (Cidney) of Dobson, NC and Casey Gammons (Olivia Johnson); the mother of his children Susan Marsh Hill of Westfield, NC; his granddaughters, Ellie Gammons and Lillie Gammons; and his brother Tommy Mears (Amy Jones). He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
