He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Lucy Frances Draughn Haymore; his wife Oleen Faye Scott Haymore; and his siblings, Lillian Simpson, Callie Atkins, Margie Hiatt, Sam Haymore and Ellis "Buddy" Haymore.
He is survived by: his sons, Tommy (Bonnie Haymore), Clyde (Sheri Haymore) and Bill (Teresa Haymore); his grandchildren, Ryan Haymore of Apex, Patrick, Sarah Haymore of Hickory, Carrie Wren of Charlotte, Lance of Charlotte, Julie Haymore of Charlotte, Luke Haymore of Charlotte, Kaylin and Jack Davis of Ararat; and his great grandchildren, Ella Haymore of Charlotte, Sophia Haymore of Hickory and James Davis of Ararat. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
