She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Burnice Augusta Collins and Robert Peter Craddock; her husband Clinard Merritt; her children, Sherman Sheppard, Vicki Sheppard of Pinnacle and Robin Mitchell (Mark) of Marks, MS.; her grandchildren, William Sheppard (Christie) of Mt Airy, Peter Sheppard (Ashley) of Pinnacle, Dr. Merritt Tuttle (Mike) of Wauwatosa, Walter Tuttle (Katie) of Raleigh and Spencer Tuttle (Kendell) of Raleigh; her great grandchildren, Anne Rachel Sheppard, William Pennson Sheppard II, Mamie Belle Sheppard, Collins Merritt Tuttle, Walter Hampton Tuttle and Baby Girl Tuttle; and her siblings, Kaye Threatt (Harold) of Winston Salem and Craddock (Edna Earl) of Pinnacle.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Mr. Alfred McCreary, 4019 NC 268 Hwy, Pilot Mountain, NC, 27041.
