She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hurst and Mary Jo Chapman Hurst; and her mother-in-law Nonnie Cook. She is survived by: her husband Alton Otto Cook; her children, Becky Lawson (Chris McCraw) and Charles Lawson (Carla Shinault); her grandchildren, Amber Nicole Lawson, Aaron Lawson and Logan Sawyers; her great grandchild Kaelynn Lawson; her sister Susan Hurst Sams; her brother-in-law Roger; and her close friends, Norma Miller, Sharon and Rusty Snow.
