We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2019, at the age of 93, Geraldine Slate (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Grady Bill Slate; and her sister Iris Smith Graves. She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Lewis; her son-in-law Jack Lewis; her grandchildren, Derek Slate, Drew, Nichole Slate, Jessica, Tad Fincher, Stephanie and Travis Inman; and her great grandchildren, Kieran Grady Slate, Avery Slate, Arden Slate, Salem Slate, Reece Slate, Lily Fincher, Ben Fincher and Ella Fincher.
