Gay York Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2020, at the age of 85, Gay York (Mount Airy, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James William York, Sr. (J. W.); her father William Glenwood "W. G."; and her brother Bud Allen. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Rick Huckaby; her sons, James William York, Jr. (Maureen) and Byron Allen York (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Ross, Marisol Huckaby, Sarah Huckaby, Elizabeth York Perez, Manny, James William York, III, Christopher Storm York and John Carlos York; her great grandchildren, Nora Elaine Perez and Gabriel Jay Huckaby; and her siblings, Elaine Allen and Clayton Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
