He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Edward Pruett, Sr. and Eunice Westmoreland Pruett; his wife Marianne Jones Pruett; his children, Paul Pruett and Gail; his son-in-law Leo Theard; his son David of Mount Airy; his daughter-in-law Kathy Pruett of Mount Airy; his grandchildren, Trey, Lee Ann Theard, Hollis Theard of Salisbury, NC, Dr. Kellner Pruett of Greenville, NC. and Meg Pruett of Charlotte, NC; and his great grandchild Chip Theard of Big Sky, Montana..
