She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy Ashby (Charlie Randleman); her son Robert E. Ashby, III; and her sister Doris Gehring. She is survived by: her daughter Lou Ashby Young (Bob) of Greensboro; her granddaughter April Ashby of Charlotte; her daughter-in-law Sue Ashby of Winston-Salem; and her nephews, John Gehring (Jane) of Winston-Salem and Robert Gehring of King.
