We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2023, at the age of 98, Frances Overby Scott of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Overby and Maggie Anderson; her husband Rev. Clarence Scott; her daughter-in-law Brenda Scott; her sister Mary Jo Anderson; her great grandchild Jackie Martin; and her great great grandchild Robert Coburn.
She is survived by: her children, Carol (Jacob Moseley), Alice (Herbet King), Billie (Dale Martin), Shelby (Ralph Boldt), Phillip Scott of Elkin, NC, Gary (Linda Scott), JoAnn (Bruce Stonestreet) and Kent (Angie Scott); and her brother Larry Overby of Stuart, VA.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
