She was predeceased by: her parents, Odoul A. Holder and Maude E. Hicks Holder; and her husband James Thomas "J. T.". She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Donna Leonard), Eddie (Anne Leonard) and Mitchell (Kristina Leonard); her grandchildren, Ashlie Leonard, Zachary, Brittnye Leonard, Kayla and Kelli Streussnig; her great grandchildren, Berkley Pait, Autumn Pait, Maverick Leonard and Aiden Streussnig; her siblings, Evelyn Hicks, Barbara "Bunky" (Chuck Norton) and Bill Holder; her sisters-in-law, Beulah Norman, Mary Martin and Roxie Collins; her son Bobby Joe Leonard; and her siblings, Faye Hodges and Bobby Holder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
