We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ernest Frye of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Frye and Elza Adkins Frye; and his brothers, Jimmy, Brock, Grady and Winfred Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Wagoner Frye; his children, Lynette Connelly, Melissa McMillian (Anthony), Heather Salley (Thomas), Scott Frye (Jennifer), Todd Frye (Michelle), Jeff Frye (Erin Rousey) and Tim Lakey (Kim); his sisters-in-law, Chris Wagoner, Mary Frances Frye and Kathy Frye; and his close friends, Bob Welch and Gary Bumgardner. He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren; brother-in-law.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made in honor of Mr. Frye to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
