We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2018, at the age of 90, Elsie Hutchens (Mount Airy, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Hutchens to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parent C. E. Sink; and her son Harvy B. Stafford III. She is survived by: her husband Roger E. Hutchens; and her children, Charles E. Stafford, Douglas C. Stafford of Mount Airy and Alice S. Monk of Mocksville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zepher Road, Dobson, NC 27017, Franklin Heights United Methodist Church, 428 S. Franklin Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030, or Meals on Wheels, 215 Jones School Road, Mount Airy.
