She was predeceased by: her parent William Claude; her husband Gary Allen Kidd; her brother-in-law William Johnson; her parents-in-law, Floyd Allen and Hulda Jane Cassell Kidd; and her sister-in-law Gail Kidd Brintle.

She is survived by: her parent Lina Mae Brindle Branch; her daughter Suzanne Sink; her son-in-law Travis Sink of Advance; her son Sam Kidd; her daughter-in-law Janel Kidd of Mount Airy; her grandchildren, Ben Sink of Winston-Salem, Allie Sink of Durham, Wesley Sink of Greenville, Jed Kidd of Charlotte and Ellie Kidd of Mount Airy; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Horton of Dugspur, VA, Garnett Beasley of Mount Airy, Phillip of Mount Airy, Wanda Branch of Mount Airy, Andy of Mount Airy, Treva Branch of Mount Airy and Kathy Branch of Pilot Mountain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
