With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Maxine Dixon Hill of Mount Airy, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Dixon and Dora Shaw Dixon; and her siblings, Catherine Dixon Richardson, A. J. Dixon, Bobby Dixon and Jerry Dixon.
She is survived by: her husband Berlie Russell Hill; her sister Mildred Dixon Bartlett; her nieces, Tammy Dixon Cummings, Kelly Dixon Patton and Lara Dixon Payne; and her great-niece Catherine Sundberg.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
