She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Richard Simpson and Dorothy "Dot" Vernon Simpson; and her brother Timothy Gray "Tim" Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Jerrold D. Bowman; her sons, Jerrold Thomas "Tom" Bowman and John Richard; her daughter-in-law Jenn Burns Bowman; her grandchildren, Erica, Tyler Bean, Bryant "Daniel" Bowman, James W. Burns, II and Johnathon Burns; and also Kelsey M. Brownfield. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
