He was predeceased by: his father James Haywood York; and his wife Betty Lou Kirkman York. He is survived by: his son David; his daughter-in-law Jody York; his daughter Melissa Tackett; his grandchildren, Dustin York, Katelyn York and Macy Tackett; and his sisters, Deborah York, Cheryl Brannock and Gail Easter. He is also survived by many friends and neighbors.
