He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee Barker and Thelma Howlett Barker; his sister Mary Ann (Buster Wood); and his parents-in-law, Mary Ruth McGee and Paul McGee Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca McGee Barker; his son Joseph Wade; his daughter-in-law Becky Barker; his niece Mary Richardson; his great-nephew Dusty Eaton; his sibling-in-law Lee; and also, Wyatt Eaton, Nora Eaton and Vayda Eaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the James Monroe Hiatt Cemetery Fund.
