Dennis Goodson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dennis Goodson of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Lee Wood Goodson; his sons, Todd (Jennifer Goodson) and Heath Goodson; his grandchildren, Emily (Chris Edwards), Katlin (Russell Reynolds), Kirsten (Mason Payne) and Chase Goodson (Anna Marion); his great grandchildren, Adeline, Hayden, Robert James "R. J.", Averie and Kynslee Ann; and also Janice Cruz. He was also cherished by his mother he is survived by two sons.
Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Roaring Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Atkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 or, to assist with childhood cancer research, ACCO (Princess Kynslee's Kingdom), P.O. Box 498, Kensington, MD 20898-0498.
