She was predeceased by: her mothers, Margie Fain Lee and Debbie; her in-laws, Dalmer and Kathleen Chilton; and her son Travis Chilton.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Dean Chilton; her sons, Scottie Chilton (Amber) of Mount Airy and Josh Chilton (Nicole) of Huntersville; her grandchildren, Hannah Baker (Austin), Cameron Chilton, Bella Chilton and Brayden Chilton; her siblings, Margaret King, Diane Scritchfield and Gary George (Darlene); her sisters-in-law, Carol Johnson and Kathy Chilton; her cousin Nancy Hill; and her pet Bailey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mountain Valley Palliative Care in her memory.
