It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Michael Woodruff of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Henry David. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bateman Woodruff; his daughter Amanda Lynn Woodruff Fletcher (Chris); his grandchildren, Jackson Fletcher and Cassidee Fletcher; his brother Joseph "Joey" Henry Woodruff (Leslie); and his nephew Ben Joseph Woodruff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, PO Box 302, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
