It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David James Beal (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Fate J. Beal and Faye Smith Beal. He is survived by: his wife Millie Shelton Beal; his son Mike Beal (Leigh); his granddaughters, Catherine Beal and Maggie Beal; and his brother Judge Beverly T. Beal (Judy) of Lenoir. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, special friends, and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
