It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David James Beal (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Fate J. Beal and Faye Smith Beal. He is survived by: his wife Millie Shelton Beal; his son Mike Beal (Leigh); his granddaughters, Catherine Beal and Maggie Beal; and his brother Judge Beverly T. Beal (Judy) of Lenoir. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, special friends, and neighbors.
