He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny "Edd" Hooker and Lillian Johnson Hooker; his brothers, Donald (Noretta Hooker) and Douglas Hooker; and his half-brother Clayton Hooker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Mayes Hooker; his daughters, Stephanie (Gerald Hardy) and Heather (Terry Wooten); his grandchildren, Emma, Olivia Hardy, Elijah and Hannah Wooten; and his sister-in-law Sandra Hooker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
