He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Zan and Minnie Alberta Smith Creed; his sister Emmie Susan; his brothers-in-law, Charlie Henry Crissman and Herman Elzavan Danley; and his brothers, James Anderson Creed, Richard Alvin (Lorene Phillips Creed), Emmett Lee Creed, Clayton Roscoe (Rosemary Storz Creed) and Elbert Franklin (Rosa Sexton Creed).
He is survived by: his wife Ila Mae Brintle Creed; his daughter Bonnie; his son-in-law Vance Holyfield of Mount Airy; his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Deborah Creed of Mount Airy; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jimmy Bryant of Sparta, Ryan of Mount Airy, Amber Creed of Mount Airy, Ashley of Mount Airy, Daniel Vipperman of Mount Airy, Matthew and Elizabeth Creed of Dobson; his great grandchildren, Chloe Madison Creed of Dobson, Wesson Zan Creed of Dobson and Brooks Coy Bryant of Sparta; his sister Faye Creed Danley of Mount Airy; and his sister-in-law Elaine Hall Creed of Mount Airy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to public health concerns, attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
