Coley Jones Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 93, Coley Jones Sr. of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ed and Jenny Lou Nichols Jones; his wife Irene Fay Bennett Jones; and his siblings, Stella Jones Rumley, Frances Jones Kidd, Claude Jones, Paul Jones, Ira Jones, Wesley Jones, Buford Jones and Roy Jones.
He is survived by: his son Coley Fred Jones, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Karen DeVos Jones of Mount Airy; his grandson Andrew Jones of Mount Airy; his stepgrandson Robert DeVos of Pinnacle; and his sister Ila Jones Chilton of Mount Airy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to public health concerns, attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
