He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Akers and Elise Lankford Bowman; and his siblings, Dorothy Ann Bowman, Linda Kay Bowman McBride, Jerry Wayne Bowman and James Akers Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Creed Bowman; his children, Cynthia Bowman Parks and Brad Bowman; his daughter-in-law Rachel; his grandchildren, Hunter Parks, Isabella Parks, Luca Parks, Cameron Bowman, Cole Bowman and Chase Bowman; and his aunt Jackie Dollyhigh.
