He was predeceased by: his parents, William Otto and Lizzy Atkins Shinault; and his brothers, Ray, Ralph, Kyle and James Shinault.
He is survived by: his son Clyde Shinault, III; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Shinault. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
