She was predeceased by: her father George Franklin Sleight; her husband Roger Lewis Ayers; her son-in-law Jimmy Franklin Hiatt; and her siblings, Margaret Sleight Smith, Nancy Sleight Stanley, Jackie Sleight Nunn and Richard Sleight.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra "Sandy" Ayers Cox (Jerry), Linda Ayers Hiatt, Wesley Ayers (Marilyn), Tony Ayers and Roger Ayers; her grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Brittney, Hayden, Jordan and Danielle; and her great grandchildren, Tyson and Kyla McCulloch (Matthrew). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
