It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Booker Collins of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Booker and Mae Elizabeth Wagoner Booker. She is survived by: her sons, David Franklin Collins and Scott Booker Collins; her grandson Johnathan David Collins (Abby); her great grandchild Reese Collins; her niece Annette Booker Wright; and her close friend Peggy Inman. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her honor to Highland Park Baptist Church, 1247 Park Dr, Mt Airy, NC 27030.
