He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Madge" McMillian Nichols; his daughters, Jennifer Nichols and Lora Chilton (Michael); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Marin (James), Charlie Nichols (Sandy), Lora Hill (Kurtis), Alex Nichols and Landon Chilton (Ivey); his great grandchildren, Natalie Nichols, Mabeline Hill and Sawyer Hill; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Wall (Bobby), Doris McMillian and John B. Mitchell; and his nephew John Mark Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
