He was predeceased by: his sister Brenda Moore; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Frances Austin Vaughn; his children-in-law, Melanie Vaughn, Catherine Pursley, Jay Pursley, Mark Vaughn, Sherrie Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, Connie Vaughn, Jonathan Sharp and Sharon Sharp; his grandchildren, Johanna Hajj-Hassan, Elijah, Jedediah, Sarah, Gracie Young, Ray Rachel, Ryan Sharp, Zoe Pursley, Caelyn Pursley, Destiny Vaughn and Valeria Hazelwood; his brother-in-law Betty Mills; his brother Jerry Vaughn; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Dillon and Susan Austin Carney; his nephews, Justin Price, William Carney and Chandler Carney; his cousin Tom Cochran (Jan); and also, Rick Mills, Barbara Vaughn, Charles, Lucy and Simba.
