Charlene Venable Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 88, Charlene Venable of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berra Frank Cook and Ruth Wilson Cook; her siblings, Robert Cook and Maxine Devitt; and her siblings-in-law, Bessie Jones and Billy Venable.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde J. Venable; her children, Cara Fields (Larry) and Jody Venable; her grandchildren, Casey Maddox (Brandon), Lori Easter and Will Easter (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Jessica Duggins, Camden Easter, Elizabeth Easter, Chase Maddox and Emily Maddox; and her cousin Linda Sheets.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.
